Philosophy

Eastwood Environmental, Inc. was established to address the environmental, regulatory and technical needs of permit holders of small water and wastewater systems. At the beginning of the 1990's the OEPA began to focus more on "small" domestic sewer systems (<100,000 gpd) discharging into the waterways of Ohio. As dedicated lab technicians, operators, and engineers, we began to see an increased need for full-time technical support and regulatory consultation. In 1994, I formed a company to meet the needs of NPDES (National Pollution Discharge Elimination Systems) & PWS (Public Water Supply) permit holders. Our techniques are constantly being improved and made better. We have used our collective knowledge and experience from the past 18 years to form a conscientious and dedicated team to provide the best possible customer service.

Eastwood Environmental, Inc.'s main strength is our ability to document and prove you are meeting OEPA requirements. A permit holder must take due diligence when following pollution prevention guidelines, and documentation is the key to compliance. We have the resources, personnel, and water treatment understanding to help you stay within your discharge limitations. Our documentation techniques include digital photos, detailed phone logs, and computer tracking of sample schedules, lab results, operations and maintenance visits. We will act as a liaison between you and the OEPA to communicate to them what steps you are taking to prevent pollution. Remember, it's not what you say but what you can prove. We are customer service oriented and will continuously strive to meet your pollution prevention and public health needs at an acceptable price.
